About me
Hi, I’m Amanda! I first fell in love with Alaska during my honeymoon in 2015, and after years of dreaming about the Last Frontier, my family and I made the big move in 2020. We now call Palmer, Alaska home. We spend our summer traversing the state in our camper, following the fish, hiking, berry picking, hosting visitors, helping at the ranch - and of course painting!
Art has been a lifelong passion of mine—especially painting. I first learned from my grandmother as a child, and it’s remained a meaningful part of my life ever since. Through The Painted Picnic, I’m excited to share the joy of creativity and connection in one of Alaska’s most inspiring settings.
